Established in 1841, Queen’s University is one of Canada’s oldest universities. It is a member of the U15, a group that represents 15 Canadian research universities.Queen's graduates have found success in a variety of fields. Queen's faculty and graduates have won many awards, including the Nobel Prize, the Turing Award, and the Victoria Cross.
Kingston is a city in Canada located on Lake Ontario. It is referred to as “Limestone City” owing to the fairly large number of grand 19th-century buildings built from limestone, one main one being the lakeside Kingston City Hall. The city of Kingston has historic landmarks, museums, and a vibrant downtown that is filled with an abundant number of restaurants and pubs.
