The University of Queensland, founded in 1909, is a public research universityand Australia's fifth oldest university.  UQ isone of Australia’s top universities according to world and national rankings and consistently ranked first for business administration, mining engineering and life sciences in Australia. It incorporates over one hundred research institutes and centers. UQ has two Nobel laureates and about a hundred Rhodes Scholarsamong its alumni and staff.

Brisbane, the home of UQ’s St Lucia and Herston campuses, is Australia's 3rd largest city and the capital city of Queensland state. It is famous for its relaxed lifestyle, safe living environment and pleasant climate. Brisbane is also home to over 200 nationalities and 220 languages.

Students can choose two types of courses: English Language Courses or UQ Study Abroad program.


English Language Courses

Three types courses to choose:

General English

English for International Business Communication

English for Academic English

Study Abroad Program

Students who join in this program may select from most of the 4000 courses across UQ’s six facultiesCourses, which may include lectures, tutorials, group work, practical lab or field work and industry placements. Students can earn eight units, which normally equates 4 courses each semester. More information on choosing course, please visit:
