English Language Program [July 1-July 26, 2019(Summer);September 23 - December 6, 2019 (Fall)]
English language program is designed for the students who need to improve English level, to understand American society, to increase the understanding of different culture and to promote innovation and globalization. Students will have chances to study with international students from all over the world, which helps to improve their English level and international communication ability. The content of the course includes Listening, reading, writing, speaking, American history, American culture, etc. The following courses are available to students with different personal interest and English language ability:

- Intensive Academic English
- Intensive TOEFL Preparation
- Conversation and Fluency
- Academic English
- English for Engineering & Technology
- Medical English
- English for Pharmaceutical Science

University and Professional Studies (June 28th – August 3rd/August 2nd – September 7th(Summer)August 26th - December 14th, 2019(Fall)
Through the University and professional studies (UPS), students have the opportunity to experience American university culture, enroll in UCSD credit courses and study with American students, faculty and professionals and earn UCSD credits that are transferable to university programs throughout the US or to most of USIEA's Chinese partner universities.
Admission Requirements:
>> Students at Undergraduate or postgraduate level who are officially registered in USIEA's Chinese partner Universities;
>> Advanced English required: minimum TOEFL 90 iBT; or IELTS 7.5; GPA3.5;
>> Interviewed by USIEA
Accommodation
Students who study UCSD programs have two options for accommodation: Homestay or off-campus apartment provided by Anotolia. It only takes about 15 minutes by public transportation from Anotolia to school with UCSD school buses and many city bus lines stop nearby the apartment. Anotolia apartments offer well equipped rooms, facilities and great surrounding environment; Students live with other international students of the same gender in the same apartment. Anotolia is surrounded by shopping malls, restaurants, markets and Café. Students can enjoy their free time with friends from all over the world.
